Hey everyone! My name is Tatyna, and I am a tour guide in the KAGAN travel company. In October, I, along with our driver Akylbek, led a tour for guests from Thailand. The group had 11 people and their tour leader.
The tour went wonderfully! We started in the city of Karakol and visited many interesting places. Our guests saw Jeti-Oguz, the famous red rock formations, and were amazed by the stunning views of Issyk-Kul Lake. They even had a picnic by the lake, enjoying the fresh air, beautiful landscapes, and traditional food prepared especially for them.
One of the most memorable moments was the eagle hunting show. The Thai tourists were fascinated by the hunters’ skill and how the eagles hunt. For many, it was their first time seeing such majestic birds, and they happily took photos with them. We also stayed in traditional yurts, which was a completely new experience for our guests. They tasted Kyrgyz dishes, learned about the local culture, and listened to interesting stories about our country.
What made this tour unique was that the guests were able to experience all four seasons in one day. The weather started off rainy, but as we ascended into the mountains, the skies cleared, and the guests got to enjoy snow, sunshine, and the autumn landscape — it was truly magical!
At the end of the tour, we visited Ala-Archa National Park. The guests loved the mountain landscapes, took a walk, and made many memorable photos. We wrapped up the trip with a mini city tour of Bishkek. The group was curious about the Soviet-era buildings, strolled around Ala-Too Square, and enjoyed some shopping.
If you want to discover Kyrgyzstan, experience its hospitality, and enjoy the natural beauty, October is the perfect time to travel!
