Day 1: Horseback riding in the valley of Irdik

Meeting in Karakol. Road to Irdik valley 35km. Arrival for lunch in the camping side. Afternoon, we ride on horseback to Red walls of Irdik. Overnight and dinner in the tent at 2000m. 3 or 4h on horseback

 

Day 2: Horseback riding to Kok Jayik valley

Morning departure on horseback. We follow the beaten path of Soviet period to reach Jeti Oguz red rock. Lunch on the way. In the afternoon, we follow the river of Jeti Oguz to reach our camping at Kok Jayik valley. Overnight and dinner in the tent at 2300m

 

Day 3: Horseback riding in the valley of Oguz Bashi

We spend this day to see the peak at 5200m. The peak Oguz Bashy. Picnic over there. We come back by the same way. Overnight and dinner in the same tent camping

 

Day 4: Horseback riding to Chon Kizil Suu valley

We attack the pass at 2800m. Down to Suttu Bulak valley. Picnic on the summer meadow at 2600m. In the mid afternoon, we enjoy the hot spring water in the valley of Chon Kizil Suu. Overnight and dinner in the tent at 2569m. 6h or 7h on horseback.

 

Day 5: Kara B

Early morning, we ride on horseback to the mountain lake. The lake situated at 3200m. Beautiful view, the peak and glacier. Lunch over there. Back to the same camp near the mountain refuge. In the afternoon, we have couple of hours of free time. Overnight and dinner in the same camping.

 

Day 6: Kichi Kizil Suu valley

In the morning, we ride into the valley Chon Kizil Suu valley. Pique-nique in the forest. Road to Kichi Kizil Suu valley. In the late afternoon, we reach our camping in the forest. Overnight and dinner in the tent. 7h on horseback.

 

Day 7: Juuku valley

Horseback riding through the Jumatay pass at 3325m. Down to the Jukuchak valley. Pique-nique on the way. We enjoy the hot spring water in Jukuchak valley. Another hour on horseback to reach the camp. Overnight and dinner in the camping at 2208m. 5h or 6h on horseback.

 

Day 8: Kichi Jargylchak valley

Last day of riding on horseback. We cross small forest and view on the lake Issyk Kul. Easy mountains. Picnic on the way. In the afternoon, we reach meeting point with a driver at 1900m. Transfer to southern shore of the Issyk Kul lake. Overnight and dinner in the yurt camp.

  • Day 1: Meet in Karakol and transfer to Irdik Valley for the start of the horseback riding tour.

Camping: Overnight stays in tents at scenic locations, ranging from 2000m to 3200m.

Yurt Camp: Final night at a yurt camp near the southern shore of Issyk Kul Lake.

Simple Conditions: Shared facilities and basic amenities in remote areas.

Riding Duration: Daily rides range from 3–7 hours.

Explore valleys such as Irdik, Kok Jayik, Chon Kizil Suu, and Juuku.

Cross high-altitude passes like Jumatay Pass (3,325m).

Visit mountain lakes such as Kara Batkak Lake (3,200m) with glacier views.

  • Weather and Packing Tips

 

Weather:

Warm days and cool nights, with colder temperatures at higher altitudes.

Rain or wind is possible, especially in mountain regions.

Packing Essentials:

Layered clothing, sturdy riding boots, waterproof jacket, gloves, and warm hat.

Sleeping bag, sunscreen, headlamp, and a compact backpack for personal items.

  • Altitude and Safety

 

Elevation Range:

Camps range from 2,000m to 3,200m, with pass crossings up to 3,325m.

Health Precautions: Consult a doctor if you have concerns about altitude sickness. Guides carry basic first-aid kits.

  • Transportation and Transfers

 

Start and End:

Day 1: Transfer to Irdik Valley from Karakol.

Day 8: Transfer from Kichi Jargylchak Valley to Issyk Kul Lake after the final ride.

  • Booking and Payment Information

 

Deposit: A €100 deposit is required to confirm your booking.

Final Payment: Remaining balance is due upon arrival in Karakol.

Cancellation Policy: Deposits are non-refundable but transferable to future bookings if canceled at least 7 days in advance.
