D1/ Arrival at Manas Airport:

At 4:10 AM, meet and greet by the guide. Transfer to the city center for a stay at a hotel. At 9:10 AM, greet the third person. Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Toktogul, a 5-hour drive. By the end of the day, we arrive at the KAGAN guesthouse. The whole group gathers together. Dinner and overnight at the guesthouse. 280 km.

 

D2/ Day of hiking in Toktogul:

In the morning, we set out on foot to Salpata Peak, with an 800m positive elevation gain. Beautiful views from the peak. Picnic at the top. Descend to the meeting point with the driver. Dinner and overnight at the same guesthouse. 5-6 hours of hiking.

 

D3/ Transfer to Kizil Oy:

Early departure to the Kizil Oy valley. On the way, we take a short walk with no specific destination; the guide will decide based on the weather and group dynamics. Picnic in the mountains. By the end of the day, we arrive at Kizil Oy village. Dinner and overnight with a host family. In the evening, we meet a whip craftsman. 180 km.

 

D4/ Day in Kizil Oy:

In the morning, we go horseback riding to explore the surrounding mountains of the village. Picnic in a shepherd’s shelter. Return to the guesthouse. By the end of the day, we take a short walk to find a panoramic view of the village. Dinner and overnight at the same place as the previous night.

 

D5/ Transfer to Kochkor with a visit to Ak Kol Lake:

We take our vehicle to reach Kochkor village. On the way, we stop to visit a small hidden lake in the arid mountains. Continue the route eastward. Stop in a village en route for lunch. By the end of the day, we arrive at Kochkor. Dinner and overnight at a guesthouse. 180 km.

 

D6/ Trekking to Kol Ukok Lake:

In the morning, we take a short transfer. Start the hike to Kol Ukok Lake. The trail gradually leads us to 3000m. Picnic along the way. By mid-afternoon, we arrive at the yurt camp. Dinner and overnight in a yurt. 4-5 hours of hiking.

 

D7/ Descent to Kochkor and transfer to Bokonbaeva:

Very early in the morning, we descend to Kochkor village by the same path. Lunch with a friendly Dungan family. Drive towards Issyk Kul Lake. Visit a handicraft center. Continue towards Issyk Kul. By the end of the day, we arrive at a guesthouse in Bokonbaeva. 100 km.

 

D8/ Transfer to Karakol:

In the morning, we meet a traditional hunter with an eagle. Then, start a hike. Beautiful landscapes with views of the lake ahead and mountains behind. Descend to the beach. Picnic on the beach. Then, meet our driver. Drive to Karakol. On the way, we take a walk in the Skazka Canyon. By the end of the day, we arrive in Karakol. Dinner at a restaurant. Overnight at Riverside guesthouse. 120 km.

 

D9/ Day in the Irdik Valley:

In the morning, we briefly visit the 19th-century Orthodox church. Then, a short transfer to Irdik Valley. Start a day hike. Through the forest, we descend towards the famous red rocks of Jeti Oguz. Meet our driver for the transfer back to Karakol. Dinner at a restaurant. Overnight at the same guesthouse as the previous night.

 

D10/ Transfer to Bishkek:

Very early in the morning, we leave for Bishkek. Before departing, a stop at the 11th-century Chinese mosque. Drive to Bishkek via the northern shore of Issyk Kul Lake. Lunch in Cholpon Ata. By the end of the day, we arrive in Bishkek. Dinner at a restaurant. Overnight at the Madison Hotel. 420 km.

 

D11/ Transfer to the airport:

At 6:00 AM, the driver drops off two people at the airport. Exploring Bishkek: Visit Osh Bazaar, Chuy Avenue, the central park, Ala-Too Square, and Oak Park. Visit the National History Museum. Lunch and dinner at restaurants in Bishkek. Overnight at the same hotel.

 

D12/ Transfer to the airport:
